Submissions are currently CLOSED, but we remain open to exceptional projects that catch our eye.
What We Are NOT Looking For:
No hiring: We do not hire individual writers, pencillers, inkers, or editors.
No adaptations: We do not adapt novels or screenplays.
No single issues: We do not publish "floppy" comic books in print.
No assembly: We do not build creative teams. You must submit with a complete team in place.
What We ARE Looking For:
Formats: Trade paperbacks, graphic novels, webcomics, and genre novels.
Genres: We prefer "outside the box," strange, or underdog stories. We generally avoid superheroes unless the take is highly unique.
Status: Projects should be near completion before we enter a contract.
Key Terms:
Creator Owned: You retain 100% ownership of your IP. RSB only handles exclusive publishing rights for the direct market and digital platforms.
No Page Rates: We do not pay per page.
Distribution: We provide digital distribution (Kindle, Comixology, etc.) and print distribution to bookstores and libraries.
Professionalism: High-quality, consistent art and professional lettering are required. (Professional polishing is available at the creator’s expense.)
